The American University of Beirut: Assistant Professor in Translation Studies
The Department of English at the American University of Beirut is seeking to fill a position of assistant professor in translation studies to begin August 15, 2016. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment, in translation studies, comparative literature, or another field of literary study that reflects a clear focus on translation theories and practices. They must be fluent in English and Arabic, have acquired an advanced level in at least one more language, and gained experience in translation.
