The Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position. Department of Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies The HKBU Translation Programme was established in 1990, and from 1 September 2019 will become the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies, having been awarded full independent departmental status.
The Department offers programmes at BA, MA and Research Postgraduate levels, and is among the most internationalized such departments in the region, with an academic staff that comprises members from Hong Kong, Mainland, Taiwan, Spain, the UK and Australia.
The Department of Translation of the Chinese University of Hong Kong is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow. As the first Department of Translation in Hong Kong, the programme has a long history of excellence in a variety of fields, including but not limited to translation history, translation and technology, digital humanities, translation theory, and practical translation (especially literary). The Department is also home to the Centre for Translation Technology, which has specialized projects undertaken by Centre members.
