CITIZENS OF ISRAEL CHARGE ISRAEL WITH GENOCIDE

Boycott from Within has sent the following letter to the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide. We encourage others to do the same at http://www.un.org/en/preventgenocide/adviser/contactform.asp?address=1. You may use this letter. Dear Madame/Sir, We are citizens of Israel who oppose our government's policies of colonialism, occupation and apartheid against the Palestinian people and its actions which may amount to genocide. Don't Name the Dead Children

Don't Name the Dead Children

Michael Rosen Thursday 24 July 2014 Israel bans radio advert listing names of children killed in Gaza (Guardian 24.07.14) Don't mention the children. Don't name the dead children. The people must not know the name of the dead children. The names of the children must be hidden. The children must be nameless. The children must leave this world having no names. No one must know the names of the dead children.

‘A level of racist violence I have never seen’

UCLA professor Robin D. G. Kelley on Palestine and the BDS movement Alex Kane on February 16, 2012 If there’s one thing the Palestine solidarity movement and Israel lobbyists can agree on, it’s this: American college campuses remain a potent battleground when it comes to the politics of Israel/Palestine. One group, the U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (USACBI), certainly recognizes this. And one way to advocate for Palestine on campus is to get professors on board the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement.
Thank you, Sinéad O’Connor, for boycotting Israel

Thank you, Sinéad O’Connor, for boycotting Israel

David Cronin on Fri, 07/25/2014 I vividly recall the first time I saw  live. She looked shy and fragile as she walked onstage. And then she began her song “Troy,” whispering to us one second; screaming at us the next. It was enchanting and haunting. That was 26 years ago. Ever since then, I’ve admired O’Connor as a woman of talent and courage. So I felt a bit hurt when she rejected me in a distinctly twenty-first century manner last month: by blocking me on Twitter.

USACBI Congratulates and Thanks the Critical Ethnic Studies Association and the African Literature Association for Endorsing the Academic Boycott of Israel!

The US Campaign for the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel (USACBI) congratulates both the Critical Ethnic Studies Association (CESA) and the African Literature Association (ALA) following their recent, respective announcements to heed the call from Palestinian civil society and endorse the academic boycott of Israel. As Palestinians residing in Gaza are faced with yet another brutal Israeli war that has killed than 500 Palestinians dead, and amidst the ongoing dispossession and erasure of the Palestinian people within historic Palestine and the Shatat, the international community must raise their voices and take action to pressure Israel.
